Volunteers play an essential role at every Canadian Screen Award gala, Academy Talks industry panel or masterclass, red carpet, nominee celebration, film screening, and more!

On the ground opportunities allow volunteers from all experience levels to take part and support Canada’s vibrant screen communities, joining a dynamic team of film and television lovers and ambassadors. Live event roles put volunteers in the action: interacting with their favourite Canadian stars, gaining valuable experience in specialized roles supporting photographers and PR teams, venue support for film screenings and industry panels, talent wrangling, and much more. There is a role for everyone to develop their interpersonal or leadership skills, and to create memorable experiences along the way.
