Note: NO appeals or recommendations will be accepted after the deadline. Incomplete requests will not be processed.

Appeal Form for Television & Digital Media.
The Academy is dedicated to addressing the evolving needs of its constituents and the industry it serves.
Appeals & Recommendations for changes to the Rules & Regulations (i.e. eligibility, category changes/additions, etc.) may be made for the television and digital media categories within the Canadian Screen Awards as follows:
Appeals for the Rules (to be considered for the 2021 Canadian Screen Awards): The Academy must receive an appeal regarding 2021 Rules & Regulations by the final entry deadline November 6, 2020. All appeals must be accepted by the Academy before being considered by the Television, Digital Media, and News & Sports Rules & Regulations Committees. If the respective committee approves an appeal, the entrant will be informed of the decision. The Academy decision is final.
Recommendations for the Rules (to be considered for the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards): The Academy receives all recommendations to compile for the Television and Digital Media Rules & Regulations Committees. If the respective committee approves a recommendation, it will be presented to the Academy’s Board of Directors for final approval.
Rationale: Please provide a rationale for your appeal or recommendation. If requesting a new category for 2022 Canadian Screen Awards, please provide a description of the category, a list of proposed eligible credits, judging criteria, as well as a list of examples of types of television or digital media projects that would potentially enter into the category. Please reference any current rule if it should pertain to your recommendation with your rationale.

Les recommandations concernant les modifications apportées aux règlements (c.-à-d. l’admissibilité, les modifications/ajouts de catégories, etc.) peuvent être formulées pour les catégories en Cinéma des prix Écrans canadiens de la manière suivante :
Procédure pour déposer une demande de modification aux règlements (à considérer pour les prix Écrans canadiens 2021): Toutes les demandes de modification doivent être déposées avant la date limite du 6 novembre 2020. Toutes les demandes de modification doivent être adressées au vice-président de la programmation et des prix qui les transmet ensuite pour examen au comité des règlements. La décision de l’Académie est finale.
Recommandations pour les règlements (à considérer pour les prix Écrans canadiens 2022) : L’Académie reçoit et compile toutes les recommandations qui seront remises au comité des règlements en Cinéma. Si le comité approuve une recommandation, celle-ci sera présentée au conseil d’administration de l’Académie pour approbation finale.
Justification : Veuillez fournir une justification pour votre recommandation ou demande de modification aux règlements. Si vous demandez un ajout de catégorie, veuillez fournir une description de la catégorie, une liste de crédits admissibles, des critères d’évaluation, ainsi qu’une liste d’exemples de genres de films susceptibles de se retrouver dans la catégorie. Veuillez indiquer toute règle en vigueur correspondant à votre recommandation dans votre justification.
DATE LIMITE POUR DÉPOSER UNE DEMANDE DE MODIFICATIONS AUX RÈGLEMENTS : 6 novembre 2020.
DATE LIMITE POUR LES RECOMMANDATIONS CONCERNANT LES RÈGLEMENTS : 3 juin 2021.
Nota : AUCUNE recommandation ne sera acceptée après la date limite. Les demandes incomplètes ne seront pas traitées.
