Synopsis:
Wildfire is an immersive documentary series that parachutes viewers onto the fireline and introduces them to some of the brave individuals fighting to protect their communities from today's modern mega fires. Filmed across British Columbia during the worst fire season on record, the series will examine how an unprecedented fuel build-up, combined with a hotter, drier climate has created a volatile tinderbox situation.
Episode Synopsis:
A fire behaviour specialist trains his successor while on the largest wildfire in BC history. A new crew supervisor takes over the only remaining all-Indigenous unit crew in BC.
