Synopsis:
Still Standing is a reality-comedy hybrid series featuring actor and comedian Jonny Harris. Harris travels across Canada to discover the hidden gems in small towns. He takes a heart-warming journey to find humor in the unlikeliest of places. He immerses himself into the town's culture as well as into the lives of its residents to unearth tall tales during his stay before hosting a stand-up comedy routine to help draw attention to these small towns.
Episode Synopsis:
In its heyday, Prince Rupert, BC was home to the world's largest cannery with a skilled workforce that could pump out one million cans of salmon per day. But Canada's cloudiest and rainiest city got even cloudier in 2016 when its last cannery shut down. Prince Rupert is now reinventing itself as a global shipping hub, the people here have learnt that after the rains, always comes the rainbow.
