Synopsis:
Quebec, in the sixties. Agathe, a gifted child, is asthmatic and lives in the suburbs with her mother, Thérèse (Larissa Corriveau), a melancholy artist. At night, the whistle of a train fuels Agathe's fantasy of a parallel world. As a teenager in the 70s, she discovers the bohemian scene and meets Frank (Lennikim), a sci-fi writer. His story will take the teenager on an unusual journey, beyond the borders of the world, towards "the great unknown."
Au Québec dans les années 1960, Agathe, enfant asthmatique à l'imagination fertile, vit en banlieue avec sa mère, Thérèse (Larissa Corriveau), une artiste mélancolique. La nuit, le sifflement d'un train nourrit les visions d'Agathe d'un monde parallèle étrange. Adolescente dans les années 1970, elle découvre le milieu bohème et y rencontre Frank (Lennikim), un jeune écrivain de science-fiction. Son récit transportera l'adolescente dans un voyage insolite, au-delà de la frontière du monde, vers « tout ce qu'on ne connaît pas ».Nominees:
